Based in Tucson, Head Full of Stars channels the desert’s wide-open isolation into songs that drift between indie rock, shoegaze, and psyche—lush guitars, moody textures, and a dreamlike feel shape the music.Head Full of Stars was founded by William Bernhard, a former member of underground psychedelic favorites Sky Cries Mary. He plays guitar, mostly. And sings. Lisa King’s melodic bass and Kevin Millard’s steady drumming and keyboard experimentations bring the band to life. Laura Kepner-Adney sometimes joins on vocals to add even more depth to their dreamy sound.
